Goa, Jan. 12 -- India's reliable Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) is set to return to action with a crucial mission that could reinforce confidence in the country's space programme after last year's setback. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch its 64th PSLV mission on January 12, underscoring both technological resilience and the growing role of private players in India's space ecosystem.
The mission, designated PSLV-C62 / EOS-N1, is scheduled for liftoff at 10.17 am from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The rocket will place a total of 15 satellites into orbit, including a classified surveillance satellite named Anvesha, developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
