Goa, Nov. 24 -- Goa's tourism season has received a strong boost with the arrival of the first international cruise ship of the season at Mormugao Port Authority (MPA). The vessel, Celebrity Millennium, carrying nearly 2,000 passengers, docked on Monday morning to a warm traditional welcome. Passengers were greeted with rose buds and treated to a cultural performance highlighting Goa's heritage. Tourism officials described the arrival as a positive sign for the state's tourism industry, especially since the cruise carried high-spending travellers from both India and abroad.
