Goa, April 13 -- In a major development in the alleged Rs 100 crore investment scam, the Goa Government has issued an interim attachment order under the Goa Protection of Investors and Depositors Act, 2018 (GPID), targeting seven properties and multiple bank accounts belonging to Myron Rodrigues, his ex-wife Sunita Rodrigues, and his current wife Deepali Parab.

The properties and accounts are believed to be proceeds of crime, linked to the scam in which several investors were allegedly duped with false promises of high returns on investments. The order is a part of the government's continued efforts to safeguard the interests of investors and depositors.
