Goa, May 30 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh officially welcomed the Indian Naval Sailing Vessel (INSV) Tarini back to Goa following its remarkable eight-month-long global circumnavigation. The vessel, which sailed across several oceans and continents, was notably commanded by two pioneering women officers of the Indian Navy, marking a significant milestone in maritime history and gender empowerment.
The ceremonial "flag-in" event celebrated the successful completion of the voyage, highlighting the courage, endurance, and navigational skills of the crew.
