Goa, Nov. 9 -- A frightened and injured leopard cub caused quite a stir in the quiet residential area of Panchme in Khandepar, Goa, when it strayed inside a local home late on Friday evening. The family, returning home around 7 pm, initially mistook the cub for a dog but quickly realized it was a leopard cub. Concerned about the safety of both the cub and nearby residents, they immediately alerted the Forest Department.
Responding swiftly, forest officials reached the site and carefully captured the distressed cub. It was placed in a secure cage and transported for medical treatment to ensure its well-being.
