Goa, April 15 -- After a week of medical care and attention, the injured baby turtle rescued by a group of Benaulim fishermen and Brazilian tourists was finally released back into the sea on Monday evening. The release took place with the assistance of local fishermen, forest officials, and a veterinary doctor.

The baby turtle, which had been found injured last week, was carefully cared for by the forest department to ensure its recovery. Once stable, it was deemed ready for release into its natural habitat. The release event marked the successful culmination of a collaborative effort between the fishermen, tourists, and wildlife professionals, all working together to give the young turtle a second chance at life in the wild.
