Goa, July 17 -- Indore has once again been named the cleanest city in India, marking its eighth consecutive win in the government's annual cleanliness survey. Surat and Navi Mumbai followed in second and third places respectively in the national rankings.

In the 3-10 lakh population category, Noida emerged as the cleanest city, with Chandigarh and Mysuru securing the next two spots.

The results were announced at the Swachh Survekshan 2024-25 Awards ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, where President Droupadi Murmu presented the awards. The event was organized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).
