Goa, Jan. 24 -- IndiGo has vacated over 700 domestic flight slots after aviation regulator DGCA cut the airline's winter schedule by 10% following major operational disruptions in December, sources said. Of the 717 slots vacated between January and March, 364 are from six metro airports-Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad-with the highest number from Hyderabad and Bengaluru. Data shows 361 slots were vacated for March, compared to 43 in February. The civil aviation ministry has invited other airlines to apply for these slots.
