Goa, Dec. 9 -- Union Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu told the Lok Sabha that disruptions caused by IndiGo's recent operational lapses are now stabilising. He stressed that the government is committed to strengthening India's aviation ecosystem and holding IndiGo accountable.
Naidu said the DGCA has issued notices to the airline, and strict action will follow after reviewing its report. Passenger convenience and dignity remain the government's priority, he added, noting that over Rs.750 crore has already been refunded and re-bookings done without extra charges.
The Minister reiterated that safety is non-negotiable. He attributed the cancellations to internal rostering failures despite IndiGo assuring compliance with revised FDTL norms....
