Goa, Nov. 24 -- The devastating loss of Aaditya Adlakha, a 26-year-old Ph.D. scholar specializing in molecular and developmental biology at the University of Cincinnati Medical School, has sent shockwaves through the academic community. Adlakha, a fourth-year doctoral candidate, was fatally shot on November 9 while seated in his vehicle, which later crashed into a wall. Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries two days later at the UC Medical Center in Cincinnati.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Adlakha within the vehicle, which exhibited multiple bullet holes in the driver's side window. The car was located on the upper deck of the Western Hills Viaduct.
