Goa, Jan. 12 -- The Indian Army successfully fired a Pakistani drone near the Line of Control (LoC) in the Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday evening, according to official sources. Security forces also detected the presence of several additional drones in the area, prompting heightened surveillance along the border.
Visuals from the operation showed tracer rounds lighting up the night sky as Army units responded swiftly, evoking scenes similar to last year's high-alert anti-drone operations. The drones were engaged using machine guns as part of standard counter-infiltration measures, the Army said.
