Goa, April 3 -- Tragedy struck on Wednesday evening when a Jaguar two-seater fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed during a night mission in Jamnagar, Gujarat. One pilot lost his life, while the other sustained severe injuries.
According to Superintendent of Police Premsukh Delu, the crash occurred shortly after the pilots experienced a technical malfunction. While one pilot ejected safely, the other went missing. The aircraft crashed in an open field at Suvarda village, located approximately 12 km from Jamnagar, and was immediately engulfed in flames.
