India, Feb. 9 -- The debate over whether the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan match at the T20 World Cup will go ahead continues to intensify. On Sunday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) held a crucial meeting in Lahore with officials from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to discuss the growing uncertainty surrounding the February 15 fixture.
PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi hosted BCB chairman Aminul Islam along with ICC deputy chairman Imran Khwaja. The discussions focused largely on Pakistan's government stance of refusing to play against India, especially after Bangladesh's exit from the tournament created further complications.
