Goa, May 3 -- After the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir, which killed 26 people, India has suspended all postal services with Pakistan. This includes a ban on all types of mail and parcels sent by air and land. The decision, made by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), is part of a wider set of actions by India to address national security concerns and respond to cross-border terrorism.

Along with halting postal exchanges, India has also placed restrictions on trade and transportation links with Pakistan, such as banning Pakistani-flagged ships from Indian ports and cancelling visas for Pakistani nationals.
