Goa, June 3 -- Goa reported 10 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, as several major Indian states recorded a sharp rise in infections, according to data released by the Ministry of Health.

Kerala continues to report the highest number of new cases, with 1,435 infections, followed by Maharashtra (506), Delhi (483), Gujarat (338), West Bengal (331), and Karnataka (253). Other states also witnessing noticeable increases include Tamil Nadu (189), Uttar Pradesh (157), and Rajasthan (69).
