Goa, Nov. 12 -- Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday said India is committed to securing a fair, equitable and balanced trade agreement with the United States, while making it clear that the government will not compromise the interests of farmers, fishermen, workers, or the dairy sector.
Speaking at Udyog Samagam 2025, a conference of state industry and commerce ministers, Goyal said that negotiations are underway for a bilateral trade deal that serves India's long-term economic interests.
