Goa, Dec. 26 -- Amid continued delays and cancellations of H-1B visa appointments, the Ministry of External Affairs has raised the issue with US authorities, expressing concern over the inconvenience caused to Indian nationals. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said the government has received multiple representations from applicants facing difficulties in scheduling or rescheduling visa appointments. He noted that while visa issuance falls under the sovereign authority of the US, India has taken up the matter with officials in New Delhi and Washington, DC.
