Goa, May 8 -- In a major escalation following India's strikes on terror hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Pakistan launched a series of coordinated attacks on Thursday evening targeting over a dozen locations in Jammu, including the civil airport and military areas. The attacks involved artillery shelling, drones, and missile strikes. Eight surface-to-surface missiles were launched but were successfully intercepted mid-air by India's S-400 air defence system, preventing any casualties or damage.
