Goa, March 11 -- The Immigration and Foreigners Bill 2025 is expected to be presented in the Lok Sabha today. This legislation seeks to update and unify India's immigration regulations. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will request permission to introduce a Bill that grants the Central Government specific powers to mandate passports or other travel documents for individuals entering and leaving India, as well as to oversee issues related to foreigners, such as visa requirements and registration, along with any related matters.
