The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Goa has predicted light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms over North and South Goa on March 29 and 30.

The weather department also warned of thunderstorms accompanied by winds gusting at 30-40 kmph in both districts over the next two days. The maximum temperature is expected to remain between 34-35degC, while shallow to moderate fog is likely in the morning hours. The IMD has attributed these weather changes to an active weather disturbance.

In the last 24 hours, Panjim recorded the highest temperature at 34.0degC, while Dabolim reported the lowest at 24.2degC, as per data collected until 1 pm on March 28, 2025.
