Goa, Nov. 24 -- A 38-year-old woman doctor from Andhra Pradesh's Guntur district was found dead in her Hyderabad apartment on Saturday, with police suspecting suicide linked to depression following a rejected US visa application.

According to officials, the incident came to light when the doctor's domestic help alerted her family after repeated knocks on the door went unanswered. Her relatives, who live in another part of the city, rushed to the flat and broke open the door, where they discovered her unresponsive.
