Goa, Dec. 13 -- Goa's hospitality sector has been placed un der a tightened compliance regime with the enforce ment of the new Immigra tion and Foreigners Act, 2025, which mandates that all accommodation provid ers report foreign guests within 24 hours of their arrival or face a steep pen alty of Rs.50,000 for every unreported individual. The measure is part of the Cen tre's broader shift towards a more structured and dig itally monitored immigra tion framework.
