Goa, Dec. 15 -- Vendors at the Holy Spirit Feast fair currently underway in Margao have sought more time to operate their stalls, citing poor business. Representatives selling khajee, clothes, utensils and other products met Margao Municipal Council Chairperson Damodar Shirodkar to submit a formal request. They asked for the fair to be extended by two days, noting similar extensions elsewhere. The vendors also demanded their stall tenure be increased to ten days, stating that additional time would help offset losses and boost sales during the festive period.
