Goa, June 27 -- Relentless rain, flash floods, and cloudbursts have caused widespread destruction across parts of Himachal Pradesh, leaving at least five people dead and five others missing. The worst-hit areas include Kullu and Kangra districts, where several villages and tourist routes have been impacted.

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Sukhu confirmed that the state has witnessed cloudbursts at three locations and flash floods at nine sites. The situation remains critical, with authorities issuing an orange alert for Sunday, June 29, warning of more heavy rainfall, possible flash floods, and landslides in Una, Bilaspur, Solan, Shimla, Sirmaur, Kangra, Chamba, Kullu, and Mandi districts.
