Goa, May 26 -- The Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) has issued a high wave alert for the coastal areas of North and South Goa, as well as the shores of Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Kerala. Wave heights are forecasted to rise up to 4.3 metres from the evening of May 26 until 8:30 p.m. on May 27. In light of the hazardous sea conditions, authorities have urged the suspension of all nearshore recreational activities and advised small vessels to remain docked.
