Goa, June 24 -- The Diwar-Old Goa ferry route was temporarily suspended on Monday due to high tide conditions, causing inconvenience to regular commuters and residents dependent on the service.
The surge in water levels made docking operations unsafe, prompting authorities to halt the ferry service as a precautionary measure. Passengers, including students and office-goers, were seen waiting at both terminals for alternate transport arrangements.
Officials stated that ferry operations will resume once tidal conditions stabilize. Meanwhile, the public has been advised to use alternate routes.
