Goa, March 20 -- High Court of Bombay at Goa has issued a directive to the Goa state government to clamp down on illegal constructions and businesses operating on public beaches. Advocate General Devidas Pangam revealed that the Court's order encompasses strict measures to curb unauthorized structures dotting the coastline.

The Court's directive specifically targets the state tourism department, mandating it to take decisive action against any unauthorized constructions and businesses operating from such premises on beaches throughout Goa.
