Goa, Dec. 9 -- The Bombay High Court at Goa has directed petitioner Moses Pinto to submit a detailed report, with properly numbered recommendations, within a week on measures to curb dust pollution in Porvorim. Pinto had approached the court, raising concerns over record-high dust levels along the construction stretch of the ongoing flyover works. He highlighted that reduced visibility due to dust posed a significant risk of accidents. Taking note of these concerns, the court has asked the petitioner to provide a comprehensive and consolidated report suggesting practical solutions to manage and prevent dust pollution in the area, ensuring the safety of commuters and residents.
