INDIA, Dec. 5 -- Deputy Collector Quepem Manohar Karekar has ordered an inquiry into the land filling and dumping of debris at Naqueri-Betul. He also ordered that an F I R be filed in the case. Herald TV had reported on Thursday that trucks loaded with plastic waste and concrete waste were dumping debris on the land. Following the news the accused have started covering the debris with mud. The culprits were seen setting some waste on fire. Despite these violations the local Sarpanch and MLA remained were silent on this locals said.
