Goa, April 8 -- Farmers in Vichundrem, Netravali, are grappling with severe losses after heavy rain and strong winds battered the area, causing extensive damage to their farms. The storm, which hit in recent days, has led to the destruction of horticulture crops and vital farming infrastructure.

The estimated financial loss for the affected farmers ranges between Rs.50,000 and Rs.60,000. The harsh weather conditions have taken a toll on essential crops, further exacerbating the challenges faced by local farmers who rely on agriculture for their livelihood.
