Goa, Dec. 2 -- A sorrowful incident occurred along the Mopa Airport road when a mother monkey, carrying her newborn, was reportedly hit by a four-wheeler. The injured mother died on the spot, while her baby clung to her body and cried in distress, refusing to let go. Witnesses quickly alerted the In Goa 24x7 reporter nearby, who informed the Pernem Forest Department. Officials soon reached the location to handle the situation and begin inquiries. Authorities are now looking into how the accident happened, with more information expected soon.
