Goa, March 7 -- The Malpe Pernem NH66 has become hazardous owing to the ongoing incomplete construction work. There have been multiple accidents at this location. Yesterday, Rajan Korgaonkar, the president of the Pernem Mission for locals, visited the site.

Rajan points out that a sharp turn has created a blind spot, which is a significant factor contributing to the frequency of accidents in the vicinity. Rajan calls upon the Public Works Department to implement some form of signaling or to install signboards in the area. He notes that no ministers have shown concern regarding this matter. Incorporating rumblers into the roadway will decrease the incidence of accidents, as it will lead to a reduction in the speed of drivers, he states. ...
