India, Dec. 4 -- The Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) has uncovered a suspected espionage network with the arrest of two individuals from Daman and Goa for allegedly sharing sensitive national security information with Pakistan.
The accused have been identified as former Indian Army Subedar A.K. Singh, currently residing in Goa, and Rashmin Ravindra Pal, a resident of Daman. According to ATS officials, both men are suspected of passing classified information to Pakistani handlers.
The arrests mark a significant breakthrough in the investigation, and further inquiries are underway to determine the extent of the information leaked and to identify any additional links in the network.
