Goa, Nov. 6 -- A major water pipeline in Guirim burst, resulting in thousands of litres of water gushing out and going to waste. The sudden rupture caused flooding in nearby areas, disrupting water supply to several households. Concerned locals urged authorities to take swift action to repair the damaged line and restore supply at the earliest. They also demanded preventive maintenance to avoid such incidents in the future, as repeated leakages have been reported in the area over the past few months.
