RAIA: Guirdolim Club edged past Parish Youth Nuvem 8-7 via tie-breaker to move into the next round after an intense 3-3 draw in regulation time of the Anil Kamat memorial football tournament organised by Enfermos Sports Club at the Our Lady of Hope Church ground, Chinchinim, on Thursday.

The match exploded into life early, with Moies D'Sa giving Girdolim the lead in the very 4th minute through a stunning free-kick. Parish Youth Nuvem nearly equalised in the 8th minute, but Meislen Barreto's effort went just wide. They didn't have to wait long, however, as Jonas Colaco levelled the score in the 9th minute with a composed finish.
