RAIA, May 20 -- Guardian Angel SC got the better of United Club Verna 2-1 in the final to clinch the 10th Loutolim Panchayat Cup 2024 organised by SCC Loutolim, at Montir ground, Loutolim, on Saturday.

As the final match commenced in front of the large crowd, both teams displayed good skills and determination to keep the spectators busy. UC Verna's Lenon Pereira had the first opportunity at the goal to take lead but his attempt was saved by Guardian Angel SC goalkeeper.

Soon, Jaison Dias of Guardian Angel SC was brought down in the danger area by the goalkeeper and Referee Raja Phir wasted no time to award a penalty to Guardian Angel SC, which was converted by Rayan Menezes.

At the breather, Guardian Angel SC were leading 1-0.
