RAIA: Guardian Angel entered the semi-finals of the Panchayat Cup after defeating United Club of Verna, 3-0, in a match played at the panchayat ground, Dando-Benaulim, on Monday.

Guardian Angel dominated from the outset, denying Verna space in midfield. Ivon Costa created several chances for the forwards, who failed to convert, ending the first half goalless.

After the break, coach made a tactical switch by bringing in Preston Rebello, who headed home in the 48th minute to open the scoring. Fredrick Fernandes then scored a quick brace in the 51st and 54th minutes to secure the win.
