MARGAO, Jan. 21 -- Goenchea Rapon karancho Ekvott (GRE), along with other fishing bodies, on Tuesday submit ted a memorandum to the Goa Coastal Zone Manage ment Authority (GCZMA), demanding a minimum three-month extension for filing objections and sug gestions and a complete reworking of the draft Goa Coastal Zone Management Plan (CZMP) prepared by the National Centre for Earth Science Studies. A delegation of GRE and allied fishing bodies met Sachin Desai, Director of Environment and Climate Change and GCZMA chief, at Dempo Towers in Panjim and handed over the mem orandum raising a range of objections to the draft CZMP, particularly the extensive demarcation of port limits.
