Chess veteran Ivor Trevenian stated that returning to Goa after more than two decades brought back memories, even though much of the place has transformed since his last visit. Speaking after his match on Monday, Trevenian said he first visited Goa 23 years ago, when he stayed in what he described as "a broken-down hotel in Panjim." "Now it's part of the Taj chain," he said with amusement. "Things have changed, of course. Many things are very interesting here.
