PANJIM: In a highly competitive final, the Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khandola, defeated Dnyanprassarak Mandal's College and Research Centre, Assagao, by 28 runs to emerge champions in the Goa University Inter-Collegiate Cricket Men Championship played at the Goa University ground, recently.
The Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce won the toss and elected to bat first. In the first inning, the Government College scored a total of 143 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. The top performers were Rishab Phadte, who scored 35 runs off 24 balls and Paarth Kossambe, who contributed 31 runs from 27 balls.
