Goa, July 20 -- With the Monsoon Session of Parliament beginning on Monday, the Central government has agreed to hold a debate on Operation Sindoor, following demands raised by the Opposition.
However, a decision is still pending on whether a discussion will be allowed on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls currently underway in poll-bound Bihar.
The Monsoon Session will run from July 21 to August 21.
On Saturday, the INDIA bloc held a virtual meeting with participation from 24 of its constituent parties. The alliance reached a consensus on eight major issues to be raised during the session.
