Goa, Dec. 9 -- A goods truck crashed into the compound wall of the Bhausaheb Bandodkar garden at Farmagudi, Ponda, earlier today. According to the driver, he had stepped out to ask for directions when the handbrake reportedly slipped, causing the vehicle to roll forward uncontrollably. The impact was strong enough to bring down the iron barricade and damage a section of the wall. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities have begun a preliminary inquiry to determine the exact cause and assess responsibility.
