Goan Warriors hold Vagator Parish Youth

PANJIM, Jan. 18 -- Goan Warriors did well to come from a goal deficit and hold Vagator PYSC to a 1-1 draw in the GFA's 2nd Division league, at Duler Stadium, here, on Friday Vagator broke the deadlock in the 11th minute when Nehal Parsekar sent in a perfect cross to Akash Pawar who perfectly timed a half volley into the far end of the Goan Warriors goal. The only time the Goan Warriors came anywhere close to scoring was in the 20th minute when Chetan Shirodkar darted into the Vagator citadel and unleashed a powerful right footer which struck the defender and rolled out for a corner.
