Goa, Dec. 22 -- According to the latest Zilla Panchayat election results till 5:20 pm, the Bharatiya Janata Party has consolidated its dominant position by winning 25 seats across Goa. The Indian National Congress has improved its tally to eight seats, while the Goa Forward Party has secured one seat. Independents have performed strongly, winning four seats so far. The Aam Aadmi Party and the Revolutionary Goans Party have each managed to win one seat. With most results declared, the BJP's emphatic performance underscores its strong grassroots presence in the state.
