Goa, May 26 -- The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) has secured a crucial environmental clearance from the Goa State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (Goa-SEIAA) to convert the Miramar Residency into a luxury five-star hotel. This expansive project covers over 74,000 square meters and plans to feature 587 guest rooms, multiple restaurants, banquet and conference halls, a fitness center, spa, and a swimming pool.

Currently, the Miramar Residency is closed and consists of 60 rooms with dining facilities across 20,000 square meters. The GTDC's ambitious redevelopment plan was recently approved by the Goa State Expert Appraisal Committee (Goa-SEAC), allowing the project to move forward.
