Goa, April 24 -- The Goa Tourism Department has issued a strict directive to all watersports operators providing yachting services, mandating compliance with the Goa Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1982, and the Tourist Trade Rules, 1985.
In an official circular, the department warned that many operators have been found conducting yacht services without securing the necessary No Objection Certificate (NOC), license, or official permissions. As a result, all such operators have been given 15 working days from the date of the notice to register their activities in accordance with the law.
"This move is aimed at bringing unregulated yachting operations under legal scrutiny and ensuring tourist safety," a Tourism Department official said...
