India, Jan. 30 -- Goa will soon introduce the e-Zero-FIR system, enabling instant registration of cyber fraud complaints involving amounts up to 1 lakh through the national 1930 Cyber Crime Helpline, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant announced.
The initiative aims to strengthen citizen-first and cyber-safe policing by ensuring faster response, seamless case registration and complete accountability in handling cybercrime complaints. With e-Zero-FIR, victims of cyber fraud will no longer need to visit police stations to register complaints, significantly reducing delays in the initial stages of investigation.
