Goa, June 14 -- In a significant move towards preserving Goa's architectural and cultural heritage, the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department is drafting a dedicated policy under the Regional Plan to protect heritage homes located in the state's villages.
TCP Minister Vishwajit Rane announced that the upcoming policy will aim to recognize and safeguard traditional Goan heritage structures, similar to the conservation zones already defined within the Outline Development Plans (ODPs) for urban areas.
