Goa, June 12 -- Amid growing unrest over the proposed taxi aggregator guidelines, tourist taxi operators from across Goa met with Mormugao MLA and Minister of Tourism, Sankalp Amonkar, to voice their concerns and seek political support.
During the meeting, operators urged Amonkar to oppose the aggregator model, which they claim threatens their livelihoods and unfairly favors app-based services. Responding to their appeal, Amonkar assured full support and solidarity with the local taxi industry.
