Goa, March 21 -- The Goa Shack Association held a meeting with the Tourism Director and the Animal Husbandry Department to address the growing issue of dog bites on beaches. Cruz Cardozo, President of the Goa Shack Association, stated that the Tourism Director assured the association that necessary action would be taken to resolve the problem.

The discussion focused on implementing a sterilization program for stray dogs on the beaches to prevent further incidents. The association emphasized the need for immediate measures to ensure the safety and well-being of both tourists and locals, while addressing concerns about stray animals on the beaches.
